The Community Needs Assessment is a critical component of JFCAC's mission to reduce poverty, strengthen communities, and empower people to achieve self-sufficiency. Through surveys, stakeholder interviews, community partner feedback, and data analysis, JFCAC gathered valuable information to better understand the current needs of our region.
The assessment examined key areas including:
- Housing and homelessness
- Employment and workforce development
- Access to affordable childcare
- Transportation barriers
- Food security and nutrition
- Health and behavioral health services
- Financial stability
- Services for seniors, families, and vulnerable populations
The findings from this assessment will help guide JFCAC's strategic planning, program development, resource allocation, and advocacy efforts over the coming years. By identifying emerging trends and unmet needs, JFCAC can continue to provide effective programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of community members.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the residents, community partners, stakeholders, and staff members who contributed their time and input throughout this process. Their participation ensures that the voices of our communities remain at the center of our work.
JFCAC remains committed to building stronger communities and improving the quality of life for all residents throughout Jefferson and Franklin Counties. The results of the Community Needs Assessment will serve as a roadmap for addressing local challenges and creating opportunities for lasting change.
